"Rembrandtlaan." Doetinchem, Holland.

Just a few days ago you couldn't paint this scene, ...
Caused by some houses which would blocked this view.
They demolished them because I had to paint it, .... nééh just kidding. :-)
They tear down the houses for a free-way around this side of Doetinchem.

What a awful grey weather today btw.

"Disintegrating fence." Doetinchem, Holland.

When the snow is gone, you really get a sense of spring,
the gras is greener, some bulbs are already peaking above the ground.

If only the weather would play along, ...

"Sheep's on college." Doetinchem, Holland.

Today's effort.

Today it was Warm sweater day, this mend putting your heater lower
and put on a warm sweater. To make this more interesting for some
local students the invited Siebe (a shepherd) to graze some sheep on
the college fields.

A great sight, especially with the some snow still lying around.

What a lovely surprise this morning, everything all white again!
Bit pity that I had to go to my physical for my shoulder, but then

"Good aftenoon Terry." Doetinchem, Holland.

Visited my "Karl Terry" tree today. It's the first time this year and I didn't expect that it was that
wet over there, good thing I had my muck boots on. Still it's quite exhausting to paint in thick mud.
Anyhow I back on my own size again, (9 x 12)  this means I am able to carry my backpack/rucksack again and paint with a tripod. Not that my shoulder is completely health, still am two to three time awake each night but I don't have to swallow painkillers anymore to get to sleep.

"Laatste sneeuwdag." Doetinchem, Holland.

Seeing that some Dutch artists still posting deep freeze paintings
while it's almost spring (at least it feels that way) I'll reckon that
I can post a little sketch from the last snowday as well.
