"Lonely world." Doetinchem, Holland.

For quite some time now I thought this side of Holland (Achterhoek)
("Back corner" roughly translated) looks in some parts a bit like
Hertford, the place where my all time favorite artist,

Trevor Chamberlain

lives and works. Today I am sure of it, when I came across this
little scene, I'll guess many of you will recognize the two paintings
I'm referring too.

Be stable. Westervoort, Holland.

Painted this one yesterday, and while driving back home
I came to think that the owner of this little apiary who passed
away last year cuased by muscular dystrophy called this apiary
"bijenstal" While translating this roughly you get Bee stable or be stable.
Would he ever known how much this was pointing to himself?

Anyway it's a great little lovely corner of a field.

The snow was melting while I painted it though.

"Terry boom." Doetinchem, Holland.

Visited today my old friend Terry, (named after Karl Terry) because I still think every plein air artist should have their own Karl Terry tree.

They cut the corn which was standing on the field where I am painting from now, An awesome tree I reckon it's been there long enough to tell me some stories if it could.

Everything is gone now, the rain washed it all away.
Good thing though because it was a perfect day to
raise the X-mass tree and make our home ready for the
upcoming time. Here a little reminder of yesterdays
