Although I settled quite well back after my trip to France, to get
regular in blog-posting isn't being the case yet.

This ones from Thursday, made from the main bridge over the Waal
a large river along Nijmegen, ... I am looking to the spot I painted
a few month ago during extremely low water, ...

Painting Trevor. Cancale, France.

This is likely gonna be my most treasured painting.
I normally use a digital camera as viewfinder and
wanted to paint a whole different scene. I noticed
Trevor paint and took a sneak shot of him, but when
I blocked my painting in I saw that I had the wrong
picture on my digital display, ...

During the last evening everybody showed their work
and I ask Trevor if he would write something on my
painting, ... HE DID!!

Tweaking and trying

Pfff  Blogger could be your best friend, ... but sometimes?!

Anyway I tweaked the whole day, together with my desktop on
paintings who I didn't found 100% ready.

Here one of them, the swimmers where not on it at first but where
there in real, .. so with a little help of my digital and comp. they had
a nice fresh dive into my painting.

"Morgenzwemmers."Dinard, France.
(Morning-swimmers.) Oil on panel.

If only I could figure out the new layout template now! (sorry for that.)

Back from France!

"Kust strook St. Malo." St. Malo, France.
(Coast St. Malo.) Oil on panel. 24 x 30 cm.

I am still overwhelmed about this group of hard working artists
they have made their first paintings even for breakfast, ... no matter
how old they are they still love their work.

What a week, what a place and what a bunch of fellow artists!!

Thanks Kate, Michael and Antony and Trevor and all the others including
Bob the bus-driver who can make buses go around corners where worms
would run away!

Their will be more, but is you can't wait, visit my Dutch website:

Turning a Morris into art, ... Holland.

First my painting of today, and man do I feel lucky that I
could paint! Started today with cutting out all the rusty
bits in my Morris, but after 4 hours of looking and cutting
I really had to paint, ...

"Panoven." Oud Zevenaar, Holland.
(Panoven.) Oil on panel.
24 x 30 cm.

Here some photos I shoot from the underside of my Morris,
I think it's almost art, ... what do you think?

Help!

Morris mantainance, ....

Discovered that my Morris has developed all kind of rust holes, ..
so been busy to repair them, and paint along the way.
It's grey out here at least yesterday, but they forecast  some sun later this week!

This was a funny painting, in the back you can see "De Posbank" a hill made
during the last ice age. During this session it rained very mildly and you really
can see the landscape change into one grey soup, after that the colors return
slowly, ... what a sight!

"Alles word grijs." Lathum, Holland.
(Everything turns grey.) Oil on panel.
24 x 30 cm.
